I have a skein of ruffled yarn left over from a class I took on ruffled scarves. Although it is an interesting effect, I did not feel like making a second one. It surfaced in my yarn bin yesterday while I was searching for something to do. I am not sure if it is Starbella or Sashay but they are pretty similar. I looked up ideas other than scarves and found one on the Red Heart site using the yarn to make a woven necklace. Although it was not my style, I thought I’d give it a go just to use the yarn up.
This did not turn out looking at all like the photo in the instructions, and instead resembles a clumpy mess. I tried tightening the weave, and loosening the weave, but there was no improvement. Ah well, it did accomplish what I set out to to do…it used up a lot of the yarn!
