I started 2015 with the goal to work on something creative every day. “Create 365” is what I celled it. This blog was my way of chronicling the challenge…and to keep me doing it since I need to report in.
2015 ended and the challenge was successful. It has become a habit now, and I’m starting year 2 of Create 365.
My friends say I have crafter’s ADD. I do a lot of crochet, sewing and pretty much love to do anything that requires a glue gun. Crafting was always my stress reliever and I can’t imagine life without it.
I live in the Philadelphia area in a small house with my husband and two spoiled kitties. He is pretty crafty too, which leads to a crazy cluttered home with projects taking over any room at a moments notice, but I would rather have it that way.

Hi! Just come across your blog and looked through some of your posts. What a good idea – wish I’d thought of it! Only started my blog this year. Its purpose was to share some of my projects and keep me focussed. Have really enjoyed my blogging journey so far, as you too, obviously have!
Hi! This is my first year blogging too, and like you, it has kept me focused. If you want to do a 365 project you can really start any day. There’s no hard and fast rule that says January 1 is it. It is challenging, but so far has been fun.
Thanks for visiting with me 🙂 can I have your real name? you forgot to add it at the end of the post… 🙂
I’ve updated it now.:) It’s Christina.
thanks Christina!! 🙂
Hi ! Really liked your blog…crafting is a great stress buster for me too.Happy crafting n blogging 🙂
Thank you! Blogging has been a great way to meet all sorts of people.
Wow Christina, that’s a great goal, and I admire you for sticking to it for so long!
It was much harder to do at the start. It has become part of my every day life now. Some days are still challenging, but even getting a few stitches into a crochet project make me feel like I’m moving forward on it.
Some days, that’s how I feel I’ve made progress on a knitting project – just knit a few stitches. 🙂
Happy crafting! Here’s hoping you never run out of things to do.
Oh, that’s an impressive record! Good job sticking with it….and then repeating the process for 2016. I’m going to go finish my very-nearly-completed sewing project! 🙂
Thanks! It was a tough challenge, but was really rewarding. I need to work harder at the finishing part of things. I have so many WiPs.
