I bought this piece of indigo fabric years ago at a craft show. Just a single yard. I’ve always loved indigo. The deepest blue, so dark it is almost black but not quite. I knew one day I would come up with the a project for it, and today I may have gotten the right inspiration. It will be so much happier being out of the fabric bin.

Can’t wait to see what you create!
I keep getting sidetracked. 🙂
Very pretty
Very deep indigo. My wife is into indigo dying, she even did a 10 day workshop in a Japanese mountain village last year. Back here she belongs to a hand weavers and spinners group who have a monthly dye workshop . As well we grow indigenous and exotic indigo plants and Madder for red dye. As you can imagine there is a lot of dyed indigo material here.
I signed up for a one-day course earlier this year that got cancelled at the last minute. I’m impressed you grow your own to use for dyeing!
