Before I was unemployed, even with a computer, online calendar, iPad, and smart phone, I still kept a paper to-do list. Something is very satisfying about crossing items off by hand.
At home now, I do the same thing. Actually there are three of them going. One for things I need to get done during the week, one for follow up items for my Father-in-Law’s estate settlement, and one for items I need to pick up & errands that need to be run that day.
Eventually I will return to the workforce, but I will never leave my paper lists behind.

A list and a list of lists – great work!
The lists keep multiplying.
Ha!
Can’t beat the satisfaction of crossing things off a list. I have lots of lists too! A monthly list and a weekly list and an errand list! Brilliant interpretation of work.
I would be lost without them.
I love the image and story Christina.
I know what you mean I keep lists, it also grows on one with ageing!!!!
I used to keep it all in my head. These days I know if it is not written down, it may never be remembered.
I love a good list and have one, with sub-lists. I do keep mine on an app on my phone now, though.
I have tried the apps, but somehow I keep returning to paper.

I find written lists useful and as you say satisfying to cross off but these days most of the time I can keep my list in my head!
That only works for me some of the time. š
I always take a paper list to the grocery store. My blog got accidentally deleted. I have missed seeing your creative work š
I’ve missed you too! I went searching for your blogs last week when i realized I hadn’t seen you for a while. I was worried when I kept running into the message that they couldn’t be found. Hope everything is OK.
Yes, all is well.
