There are seven of us in my craft group. We’ve been meeting for over 20 years. We have seen marriages and divorces. Babies born and those same babies leaving home for college. There have been life changes, career changes, heartache, and celebrations of accomplishments.
We call ourselves “The Seven Sisters”. My life would be much less rich without them.
We all have different skills, different interests, and different crafts. When one of us finds a cause to support though, we all try to pitch in. These scarves were made by the group for a soup kitchen where two of them donate their time.

What a lovely depiction of friends.
Thanks. I didn’t want to post anyone’s photo without talking to them first…and the week got busy.
Love this Post!
I’m lucky to have real life friends like this–and now
blog friends too! 🙂
🙂
That’s a great group of friends.
They are very special to me. I was amazed when I started figuring out how long we have been together.
So heart-warming! There is nothing so deeply nurturing than a group of women crafting together – and to do it for 20 years ….. rich indeed.
It shows how important it is to all of us that none have fallen away through the years.
Lovely. ❤
I envy you! I’ve been in a sewing group for about 6 months and can already see how it enhances my world. But to have 20 years of camaraderie–that’s wonderful!
It is like having a built in support system, both for craft skills and for life.

Thank you. I love what we accomplish when we are working together.
