I say hat #1 because I bought 2 skeins of the yarn originally intending to make a scarf, but decided to try the hat pattern provided on the website for a simple beanie-style hat. When it was finished, it fit, which was one of my worries since it was my first go at an adult hat, and it worked from the bottom up to the crown. If it was too small I would not be able to add any increases to fudge it.
I’m going to try another hat pattern with the rest of the yarn, one that doesn’t require crocheting in the round. I still have problems moving from row to row in the round.
Looks great! Thank you for supporting the troops! 🙂
Happy to help!
It looks nice and warm.
It’s finally cool enough for me to work on warm projects. I just can’t bring myself to make hats or scarves in the summer.
Looks Great! 🙂
Thanks! I’m glad it ended up the right size!
Oh yes the join! Love the hat.
The join is my crochet nemesis.:)
Great hat!!!
Thanks. I wanted to start with something simple for my first try.
