I was stitching on the red scarf at crochet class and I thought I noticed that it seemed to be getting narrower. I counted and recounted the stitches, but they were the same at the top, the bottom and even a few places in the middle I counted just for good measure.
I’m using the same hook. It is the same number of stitches. It is the same skein of yarn. I was not (as far as I can tell) any more tense while I was working on it. This one has me puzzled.
I love the color! The Stitches will relax! 🙂
That is what I am hoping.
Yes, I think it will be fine once you finish and block it.
If that fails, I may add some fringe to distract people. 🙂
Nice colour
I wanted to use a red that was off the beaten path. This ranges from brown to purple to red.
Is blocking the answer? I know almost nothing about crochet . . .
I’m going to try to block it, but this project had to be made in acrylic, so I’m not sure how successful that will be.
I was going to say block it but it looks as if that is the general consensus already.
I’ve never blocked acrylic yarn before. Hope it works!
