I had to have a talk with myself. This talk happened while I was standing in my craft room trying to figure out a project for the day. I found myself pulling out all sorts of new items to start something. The talk was about the fact that I have a whole lot of projects in the works already, and perhaps I should work on one of them instead of beginning a new one.
Sometimes I actually listen to the advice I give myself. Rather than starting something new, I decided to finish up the little preemie hat I had begun in class the night before. The counting all worked out, it got stitched up and is ready to be sent off. For the rest of the week, I’m going to try to only work on things already started and see if I end up with a few more check marks on the “done” list.
Such a darling little hat! I love the color too. I was considering using my yarn from the CAL I started. I could make a lot of hats for a hospital rather than a baby blanket to donate. Still thinking about it! 🙂
Hats definitely work up faster. You could always use the leftovers for hats.
🙂
Such a cute hat. Someone will cherish it.
I hope so!
That hat is super cute.
It is so tiny in real life. It could fit on a small orange.
Cute hat! Do you think your 365-challenge has led you to dabble in lots of different projects, so you have something different to post each day, rather than encouraging you to stick to one thing to completion?
I always have multiple projects going. Sometimes when I’m working on a larger project, I need to take a break and make a little something that will provide instant gratification. The problem when I do this is sometimes I lose momentum on the longer projects. Also, seeing so many ideas I want to try on the internet doesn’t help!
