I’m a summer person. I’m happiest in shorts and a t-shirt, but as the cooler mornings and the fact that pumpkin-flavored everything is already showing up in the stores, I know that autumn will soon be here.
As much as I would like to be in denial that colder weather is coming, time marches forward. I’ve decided to try an experiment, a mash up between a project I’ve done in the past with fabric to see if I can translate it into a crochet version. There’s not much to see yet, just rows of orange single crochet. There is quite a bit more to go and it doesn’t look like much now. Hopefully I’ll be able to transform this into a cute fall decoration even while wishing it could stay summer just a little bit longer.
I love autumn too, summer is always nice and bright….. And just waiting to see what your orange project is…. 🙂
I know I’m in the minority of people sorry to see autumn begin.
I’m actually relieved to have autumn on the way–I love cool and crisp. Enjoy the end of your summer!
I’m going to hold on to summer as long as I can this year.
