Or possibly this is less of the swim suit as these bottoms are tiny. It could just be because I’m not used to seeing clothes in teeny sizes. My friend is a size extra small and I am…not. All that is left to complete is the edging & string part.
Although it is blue (this photo isn’t true to color), I keep having the song “She wore an itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, yellow polka-dot bikini” go through my head as I work on this.

It really is, but since I don’t think she will actually wear it, I’m not going to worry…too much.
Maybe her Barbie doll could wear it? Wow, she must be a tiny person.
My mother made me a bikini like that years ago when I was about twenty. I tired swiming in it only once. When I did so the cotton soaked up lots of water that made it very heavy, too heavy for the ties at the side to be enough to keep it up! 🙂
I was wondering about how much it would absorb. The instructions for the ties don’t seem like they will produce something up to the task.
