A while back I was playing with making flowers from Rainbow Junkie’s blog post. While I was away at craft weekend, I decided to make her entire project as part of a Mother’s day gift for my mom. I stitched up the flowers and leaves, but since I didn’t have a pot, I waited to finish it until I got home and could get one to know what the finished size should be.
Forgive the bad iPhone photo, but I crocheted the dirt and assembled it and now my mom will have a version of her favorite flower that will always be blooming. It felt good to complete something during this crazy week.
