On Monday nights I take a crochet class. It’s structured so that we learn a new pattern or project every other week, and we have “camp” on the opposite weeks.  Camp is a chance to bring in a project that is giving you problems, and get help from the instructor, or to just work on as project in the company of other crocheters.

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve gotten to be good friends with some of these women through the years, and some weeks there is more gabbing than hooking.  In this week’s class though, there was both and everyone’s hooks were busy. I worked on a couple of small projects.  I’ve learned not to bring anything that requires too much concentrating, or counting. It is too distraction, but in a good way.  Here are a couple of my friends hard at work.
