Remember my first attempt at a van headlight the other day?
It looked more like something you would see in as go-go bar than on a vehicle.
I made a second attempt, still crocheting in the round and it still wasn’t right.
Unless it was on a van that had been in a bit of a fender bender.
A little more adjustment to the pattern, and I think I’ve got it!
I finished each row with a slip stitch and added a turning chain and it really makes a difference in the roundness of the piece. Once I got this figured out, I made the other headlight, some turn signals and the background for the VW logo. It felt good to work through this and end up with what I wanted.
