I just realized how many times I want to start a post “Years ago I got this _____”. Apparently I have been a craft supply hoarder for a long time. That is why for February’s Thing-a-Day, I don’t let myself buy any supplies. It’s a way to dig through my stash and make something using (up) what I already have.
So YEARS AGO, I made some quilt squares with strips of leftover fabric. There are about 7 of them, and I sewed the strips based on color. They have been sitting in a plastic bag all this time. Since I don’t see them turning into a quilt any time soon, 3 of them got used for this Valentine scrappy heart. If fabric had feelings, they would probably be happy to be out and enjoyed.
